Founded in London in 1986, Framestore now employs more than 800 people across London, New York, LA and Montreal. The creative studio has won numerous international accolades, including the visual effects Oscar and Bafta for the Golden Compass in 2008, and again in 2014 for Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity. Creating extraordinary images for film and advertising, from the iconic Guinness Surfer commercial to the award-winning opening title sequence for Skyfall, the chances are you will know its work.
The company writes, produces, directs, animates and colour grades for its advertising clients. It can also craft interactive installations, branded content and pioneering virtual reality experiences, most notably with the creation of HBO’s Game of Thrones: Ascend the Wall experience. Recent film work includes the Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis, José Padilha’s RoboCop and the upcoming Jupiter Ascending, Guardians of the Galaxy and Paddington Bear.
